Seth McCombs has worked in the tech industry since 2015. In 2015, they began working as an IT Business Relationship Manager and Apple SME/Global Technology Infrastructure Specialist for Sutherland. In 2016, they became a Technology Manager for Sutherland Labs, where they supported on-site teams with all technology needs, including laptops, cell phones, and video/still cameras. In 2017, they worked as an IT Operations Engineer for SourceClear. In 2018, they began working as a Senior DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer for Veracode. In 2019, they were an Infrastructure Engineer for Sysdig and a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a video/music startup. In 2020, they became a Software Development Engineer III for Workday, where they managed overall system health and coordinated upgrades and patching of Workday stack and underlying OSS platform. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer - Core Infrastructure for AcuityMD and a Tech Lead - Kubernetes & Containers and Senior DevOps Engineer for Crunchyroll.

Seth McCombs obtained their Associate's Degree in Entrepreneurial Business from Monroe Community College between 2009 and 2011. In April 2018, they were certified as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate by Amazon Web Services.
