Paul Mattingly has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Paul started their career at Concorde Logistics Ltd as a 2nd line support tech before transitioning to a 3rd line support and infrastructure role. After that, they worked at Pasporte as a 3rd line support tech. Paul then joined Niu Solutions, where they held the positions of Infrastructure and monitoring authority, and later Software developer for management and automation. Following that, they worked at CSI Ltd as a Software Developer, specializing in integration and automation. After that, they joined Edge by Ascential as a Software Developer, focused on data platform infrastructure. Paul'snext role was as a Lead Software Developer at Ascential, and currently, they work as a Lead Software Developer at Acuity Pricing (formerly Brand View).

Paul Mattingly obtained various IT certifications from 2003 to 2015, including the CCNA certification from Cisco in October 2006 and the MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 certification from Microsoft in 2015. Paul also pursued their education at St. Crispin's School from 1989 to 1996. In 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and in 2023, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from AWS. Additionally, they acquired the MCSE+Messaging Windows 2003 certification from Microsoft in June 2003.
