Tammy Dao-Anderson has over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Tammy has held various roles in different companies, including Acuity, Inc., Agilex Technologies, L-3 STRATIS, Harris IT Services, R & W Group, CARQUEST, Global Recruiters Network, and CyberCash.
In their most recent position as Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning at Acuity, Inc., Tammy is responsible for leading the talent acquisition team and workforce planning efforts.
Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Acuity, Inc., where they played a key role in the recruitment process.
At Agilex Technologies, Tammy served as a Senior Recruiting Business Partner and Team Lead, supporting customers within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Agilex Technologies is a provider of mission and technology solutions to the national security, healthcare, and public sectors.
During their time at L-3 STRATIS, Tammy held two positions: Technical Recruiter and OSSM Lead Recruiter. Tammy was responsible for full lifecycle recruiting and also co-led the university recruiting and internship initiatives.
Tammy has also gained experience as a Contract Recruiter at Harris IT Services, an IT Recruiter and Sourcing Consultant at R & W Group, and as a Field Recruiter at CARQUEST.
Earlier in their career, Tammy worked as an Executive Recruiter at Global Recruiters Network, specializing in recruiting within the audit and financial services industry.
Tammy began their career as a Product Support Specialist at CyberCash.
Throughout their career, Tammy has consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of the recruiting process and has successfully supported various government agencies and private sector organizations in their staffing needs.
Tammy Dao-Anderson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. In 2012, they earned a Human Resource Management Certificate from George Mason University. Tammy later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University, completing it from 2016 to 2018. Tammy also attended a Project Management Prep Course at Villanova University in 2019 to enhance their skills in project management. Tammy has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR), the LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter, the Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), the Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR), and the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
