James Machado is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in network and systems engineering, currently serving as a Network and Systems Engineer at Acuitus, Inc. since 2011. Machado is part of a dedicated IT Management Team responsible for the company’s network infrastructure, specializing in Cisco systems, routing protocols, firewalls, and virtual environments. Additionally, a seasoned Information Technology Instructor, Machado has educated over 1500 individuals, including military personnel, in Linux Operating Systems. Prior experience includes analyzing critical infrastructure at the Northern California Regional Intelligence Center, collaborating with various agencies to enhance public safety. Educationally, Machado holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
