John Taranto has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John began their career as the Director of Sales at The 400 Group in 1997, where they remained until 1999. John then joined TechTarget in 1999 as an Account Manager for the Storage Media Group. John worked in various roles at TechTarget, including Associate Publisher for the Storage Media Group, Director of Sales for the Security Media Group, Director of Sales for the CIO Media Group, and Director of Sales for the Storage and Channel Group. John left TechTarget in 2012 and went on to establish their own company, TechDueDiligence, where they served as the Founder until 2012. In 2013, John re-joined TechTarget as the Director of Strategic Accounts, and later became the Global Director in 2017. In 2019, they left TechTarget and joined Activate Marketing Services LLC as the Executive Strategic Sales Director. John was promoted to Vice President Strategic Sales in 2020, and their employment at Activate is ongoing.
John Taranto has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a focus on Marketing, Public Relations, and International Business from Bentley University. Additionally, they have attended Xaverian but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
