Joanne Tu is a dedicated Medical Assistant at Action Urgent Care since November 2019, responsible for recording patient vital signs and history, running rapid lab tests, administering medication, and performing phlebotomy. Additionally, Joanne Tu has been a Research Volunteer at Sutter Health since July 2016, collecting data to assess surgical efficiency and screening patients for sleep studies. Previous experience includes work as an Undergraduate Volunteer at Imani Clinic, where patient care and health education were priorities, and as an Emergency Medicine Research Associate at UC Davis Medical Center, focusing on patient recruitment for research studies. Joanne Tu also held positions at Greystar as a Community Assistant and at JCPenney as a Customer Service Specialist. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2019.
