Ute Barber has over three decades of experience in early childhood education and data management, currently serving as a Data Technology Specialist at Action for a Better Community, Inc., and Head Start since 1989 and 1997, respectively. Responsibilities include verifying applicant information for program eligibility and generating monthly reports for state and federal agencies. Ute also has a background as a Daycare Director at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church from 1993 to 2000 and as a Home Visitor for Head Start in Springfield, IL, from 1984 to 1987, providing home-based educational services. Ute holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Services from SUNY Empire State College and an Associate's degree in Youth Administration/Criminal Justice from Germany.
