Sumit Mukherjee, MS, PhD, is a seasoned researcher in cancer immunology currently serving as a Research Scientist at Actinium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 2023. Prior to this role, Sumit was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, focusing on the immunotherapeutic protein target ART1 in lung and colorectal cancers. Sumit's postdoctoral journey began at Weill Cornell Medicine, where significant work on ART1's development as a therapeutic target in lung cancer and melanoma was conducted. Previous experience includes serving as a Volunteer Researcher and Adjunct Lecturer at the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, conducting cervical cancer research, and instructing undergraduate courses in chemistry and biochemistry.
