David Hirst

Regional Vice President Of Marketing And Product Development at Actelis

David Hirst has a diverse work history, spanning several companies and roles over the years. David most recently worked at Actelis Networks as the Regional Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Product Development at the same company from April 2018 to December 2022.

Before their time at Actelis Networks, Hirst worked at Gamatronic as a Customer Support Manager from June 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they focused on improving the technical expertise and revenue of the customer support team, collaborating with resellers and customers worldwide.

Between the years 2014 and 2015, Hirst was self-employed, serving as a Telecom and Networking Consultant. During this period, they worked independently providing consultation services in the telecom and networking industry.

From 2006 to 2012, Hirst worked at Actelis Networks in various positions. David then joined Seabridge as a Manager of Pre-Sales from April 2003 to September 2006. In this role, they were responsible for pre-sales activities for Seabridge's (NSN's) Carrier Ethernet Product Line, including technical presentations, customer meetings, and tender responses.

Prior to Seabridge, Hirst worked at Terayon as the Director of Technical Sales & Solutions from March 1997 to October 2001. In this role, they managed customer support and project management groups and supported Terayon's Multigate product, as well as handled pre-sales responsibilities.

Hirst's earliest work experience can be traced back to Telrad Networks, where they held various positions from November 1982 to March 1997. Notably, they served as a Team Leader for Automated Testing (TATS), a Design Verification Manager, and a System Engineer.

David Hirst pursued their education from 1979 to 1982 at Imperial College London, where they obtained a B.Sc degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
