Denise Porterfield has extensive experience in the claims management sector, currently serving as VP of Claims at ACS Benefit Services, LLC since July 2001, where Denise has held various roles including Claims Director and Claims Manager. Previously, Denise worked at Unicare as an Insurance Adjuster for a short-term project, focusing on clearing a backlog of claims. Prior to that, Denise held the position of Supervisor of Claims at Medcost Benefit Services, Inc., overseeing claim processors and related personnel. Denise began their career at Unicare as a Team Lead, managing a claims team, and previously worked as a Claims Examiner at Jefferson Pilot Financial, where foundational training in claims processing was established.
