Steven Mih is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Currently serving as the Cofounder and CEO of a stealth reliable AI startup since July 2024, Steven previously held the position of CEO at Ahana, which was acquired by IBM in April 2023 to enhance open source Presto-based SQL data lakehouses. Steven also co-founded Ahana and served as CEO from March 2020 to July 2024, focused on simplifying analytics for Presto. Additional leadership roles include CEO of Alluxio, Inc. and Aviatrix Systems, and SVP at Couchbase and Mesosphere. As a board member of the Presto Foundation, Steven contributes to the advancement of the PrestoDB community. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and spent a year at Tokyo University.
