Michael Shea is an experienced Machine Design Engineer with a robust background in the mechanical development of automated manufacturing and material handling systems, as well as robotic interfaces for various food products. With over 15 years of SolidWorks and more than 25 years of AutoCAD experience, Michael has a proven track record in cost justification, project scheduling, and engineering management. Current roles include being a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at ACRO Automation Systems, a Mechanical Project Engineer at Better By Design, and self-employment since October 2023. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer at SARDEE Industries and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer roles at CNC Solutions LLC, Automated Manufacturing Solutions, and Colborne Corp. Michael holds a Business Management Degree with a focus on Business and Mechanical Engineering Technology from Harper College, supplemented by education from Elgin Community College and Northern Illinois University.
