Jose Casanova, CSM has a diverse work history that spans multiple industries. Jose began their career at UPS, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a Supervisor, managing a team and ensuring on-time delivery of packages.

Jose then transitioned to Motorola, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer. Jose was responsible for designing and coordinating the manufacturing of mechanical and electromechanical components for portable communication products.

After their time at Motorola, Jose joined RIM as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they focused on advanced engineering research and development, collaborating with various internal groups to design cost-effective and high-quality handheld products.

Next, Jose moved to Tyco Retail Solutions as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Jose demonstrated expertise in project management and played a key role in the design of innovative security systems. Jose also managed cross-functional teams and utilized their technical expertise to develop cutting-edge security tags.

Currently, Jose is employed at ACR Electronics, Inc. Jose has held several roles within the company, including Mechanical Engineer Manager and Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In their current position as Director of Hardware Engineering, they oversee the hardware engineering department, ensuring the successful design and development of new products.

Throughout their career, Jose has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Jose Casanova, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained in 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired the certification of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in September 2015.
