Kris Olafson is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Acquia since September 2014, overseeing the Customer Experience Core team and Platform Messaging teams. Prior to this role, Kris contributed as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer on Acquia's Customer Experience API team, focusing on the web hosting platform. Before joining Acquia, Kris managed the central web development team at the University of Waterloo from June 2008 to September 2014 and served as the Technical Lead for a Drupal CMS project. Kris's earlier experience includes various roles in web development and IT security at Western University from 1999 to May 2008. Kris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Western University, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
