Ian Walker has extensive work experience in the field of community health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on individuals living with HIV/AIDS and the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. Ian has held various leadership roles, including Director of Community Health & Wellbeing at ACON, where they were responsible for improving service delivery and developing innovative programs. Ian also served as a Manager of Positive Services & Health Promotion at ACON. Prior to their work at ACON, Ian worked as a Medicolegal Consultant at Evaluate, where they provided expert occupational therapy opinions in legal cases. Ian has also held positions as a Chief Occupational Therapist at the Schanhne Institute, a Senior Occupational Therapist at London Lighthouse, and an Occupational Therapist at Tower Hamlets Social Services and the Royal Perth Hospital. Ian's work experience demonstrates their dedication to improving the lives of individuals in need, particularly those living with HIV/AIDS.
Ian Walker graduated from Curtin University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. Ian later pursued a career in acting and obtained a Diploma of Performance from the Actors College of Theatre and Television in 2002.
