Gert Buys is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java/J2EE development and IT consulting. Currently employed at ACLVB since July 2018, Gert has previously held software engineering roles at Vlaamse overheid, Securex, De Lijn, and Belfius Insurance. Gert began an IT consulting career at Mensura and also worked at Dolmen and Securex earlier in the career. Gert holds two bachelor's degrees, one in ICT Programming from CVO Lokeren and another in Accountancy from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven.
