Nicholas Reiner is a skilled communications professional and educator with extensive experience in public relations, teaching, and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Press Strategist at ACLU SoCal since March 2023, Nicholas previously held the position of Director of Communications at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition from August 2018 to March 2023. Nicholas has an academic background that includes a lecturer role at UC Irvine, where instruction focused on composition and rhetoric, and experience as a visiting professor teaching narrative writing seminars for formerly incarcerated individuals. Nicholas’s writing career spans engagements with ESPN, Basketball Prospectus, and KenPom.com, demonstrating a strong foundation in sports journalism and research. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University and a Master of Fine Arts in English from UC Irvine.
