Brian Drum has been a UX Product Designer since 2012, when they joined Trunk Club as a Product Design Lead. In 2016, they moved to IBM Watson Health, where they worked on designing user experience for health-related products. In December 2017, they became the Director of Product at Aclaimant.
Throughout their career, Brian has partnered with product managers to define opportunities and develop hypotheses based on user research and iteration. Brian has also been responsible for conducting user research, prototyping solutions, and working with engineers to implement designs in production code.
As an early team member at Trunk Club and founding member of the design team, Brian helped improve the product discovery and development process with an emphasis on identifying the job to be done. Brian also played a role in establishing and maintaining a team culture that values responsibility, learning, and entrepreneurship.
During their time at Trunk Club, Brian's project teams increased operational efficiency with a suite of integrated applications used by merchandising and warehouse teams to purchase inventory and fulfill orders. They also empowered the stylist team to deliver personalized service at scale using a bespoke relationship management and product selection platform. In addition, they completely re-imagined the customer-facing content strategy, resulting in increased conversion and engagement.
The educational career for Brian Drum would include obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
