Blaise Porter is a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer at ACIST Medical Systems since August 2013, specializing in system design requirements, cross-functional communication, and the development of Verification and Validation Test plans. As the President of Blaise Porter Consulting, LLC, also established in August 2013, Blaise Porter offers engineering consulting services in the Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering sectors, focusing on bioreactor design and mechanical testing. Previously, Blaise Porter held roles at Miromatrix Medical as a Senior Product Development Engineer and at Tissue Growth Technologies in various capacities, including Director of Product Applications and Director of Product Development. Blaise Porter holds a PhD and MSME in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Tissue Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a BA in Physics from St. Olaf College.
