Heinrich Venter is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in payment solutions and software architecture, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at ACI Worldwide since September 2021. Previously, Venter held multiple roles at Capitec Bank from December 2016 to August 2021, including Team Lead and Software Architect, focusing on ACI Postilion software suite architecture. Prior to this, Venter worked at ACI Worldwide from August 2009 to December 2016, initially as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for international payment solution implementations and later as Supervisor Software Engineering, leading a team for third-level support of Postilion software. Venter began a career at Spescom DataVoice as a Software Developer from June 2005 to July 2009. Educational credentials include an MScEng in Engineering and a BEngSci in Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University.
