Alexandru Băcanu is a Senior Software Engineer at ACI Worldwide since May 2018, specializing in full stack development for fraud prevention software utilized by banking analysts. Responsibilities include working on both backend and frontend aspects of the application using Java, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, and CSS, along with frameworks such as Spring and Angular. Experienced with application servers like Jboss and Tomcat, as well as databases including Oracle and MSSQL, Alexandru also manages continuous integration through Jenkins and engages in customer discussions. Prior to this role, Alexandru worked as a Software Developer at Infobest from January 2016 to May 2018, contributing to the development of a Jenkins plugin for Continuous Integration. Academically, Alexandru earned a Master’s degree in Intelligent Electronic Systems from Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara (2018-2020) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West University of Timisoara (2013-2016).
