Manuel Beltran serves as the Sustainability Specialist II at Alameda County Industries in San Ramon, focusing on waste diversion and education for commercial and multi-family customers since September 2019. Previously, Manuel held roles as a Sustainability Specialist at the YMCA of San Francisco and as a Lifeguard, overseeing various aquatic activities while fostering community relationships. Additional experience includes serving as a Shift Leader at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and volunteering with the Pacifica Beach Coalition to promote environmental awareness. Manuel’s early professional development included an internship with CalRecycle and a position as a Noon Duty Aide with the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from San Francisco State University and an associate degree from Santa Monica College.
