Jorrit de Jong has a diverse work experience in various companies and sectors. Jorrit started their career as a Treasurer at GSBV Moestasj from September 2008 to September 2009. Jorrit then worked at Lister GGZ as a Treasury Advisor from September 2011 to March 2012. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager in Information Security at Lister GGZ from May 2011 to March 2012. Jorrit de Jong also gained experience as a Trainee in Asset Management & Strategic Pension Management at Achmea Investment Management from April 2012 to September 2013. Following that, they became a Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income Credits at Achmea Investment Management from October 2013. Currently, they are serving as the Head of the non-financial cluster and Senior PM Credits at Achmea Investment Management, a role they started in March 2019. Jorrit'sresponsibilities include the day-to-day management of the non-financial cluster, with a focus on sectors such as Consumer, Industrial, and Real Estate. Jorrit de Jong has special expertise in fields like industrial analysis, trading corporate bonds, BQNT Python, corporate bond screening model, and ESG integration.
Jorrit de Jong has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. Jorrit is currently a CFA Level 3 Candidate in the CFA Institute, where they are working towards becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst. In 2011, Jorrit completed their Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Groningen. Prior to that, in 2009, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance Pre-Master from the same university. Jorrit's education journey started in 2005 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in HBO Management, Economics & Law from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen.
In addition to their formal education, Jorrit has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2019, they completed a course on Restructuring Problem Credits offered by Fitch Learning. In 2016, they underwent training on identifying warning signs and lessons related to deteriorating credits from the same institution. Jorrit also received certifications from Moody's Corporation, including Advanced Corporate Credit Analysis in 2014 and Corporate Credit Rating Analysis in 2013. These certifications reflect their commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the finance industry.
