Laura Morton is a highly skilled immunology researcher currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Achilles Therapeutics plc since May 2021, focusing on personalized TIL therapy and immunogenic neoantigen discovery. Prior to this role, Laura completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Leiden University Medical Center from January 2016 to January 2021, specializing in T-cell receptor cell therapies under the supervision of Mirjam Heemskerk. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Birmingham from September 2011 to December 2015, utilizing computational biology for uveitis diagnostics, and a PhD in Tumour Immunology from the same institution. Laura's background also includes practical experience as a biomedical scientist and assistant project worker at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
