Ashim D'Silva has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on user interface and product design. Ashim is currently working at Achievers as a Senior User Interface Designer. Prior to this, they held the position of Product Design Lead and Product Designer at ThoughtWire from February 2021 to December 2022. From March 2018 to April 2020, Ashim served as the Head of Design at Insider.in. Before that, they founded The Random Lines in 2004, where they worked as the Founder until March 2018. Ashim also worked as an Interaction Designer at Bliss Media Pty Ltd from June 2007 to June 2009, where they expanded the studio's offerings and developed a car customization application for Nissan Australia. Their career in design began at Symphony Services in 2005, where they worked as an Interaction Designer, focusing on interactivity and corporate communication.

Ashim D'Silva obtained an Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Wigan & Leigh, Bangalore, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Digital Art from RMIT University. In addition to their formal education, Ashim also acquired additional certifications in "Persuasive and Emotional Design" and "Storytelling to Present UX Work" from the Nielsen Norman Group in November 2020.
