Jose Gastelum has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Safety Engineer and Heavy Equipment Operator at Achen-Gardner Construction, LLC since January 2021, specializing in trench paving. Prior to this role, Jose worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Haydon Building Corp from June 2019 to December 2020, also focusing on trench paving operations. Earlier experiences include working as a General Laborer at Marrs Construction Inc. from May 2018 to June 2019, and at Rail Service and Logistics from March 2015 to May 2018, where duties involved leading a crew to retrieve inaccessible railroad ties. Jose is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Columbia Southern University, expected to be completed in July 2024.
