Bill Maguire is the Co-Founder of ACE IoT Solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Staff for the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration from May 2009 to June 2012. In this role, they worked with NTIA’s Associate Administrator to oversee the progress of the BTOP program, identify challenges and develop solutions to priority issues. Bill also directed efforts to engage external stakeholders including telecom providers, foundations and trade associations.

During their time at NTIA, Bill led several important initiatives including the development of an online tool designed to illustrate the impact of projects funded by BTOP. Bill also managed a team of Federal staff responsible for developing compliance-related guidance and technical assistance for BTOP grantees. In addition, they led efforts to develop policy recommendations for NTIA leadership with respect to technical and regulatory issues facing BTOP awardees.

Since joining ACE IoT Solutions, Bill has been instrumental in developing the company’s innovative IoT platform which helps businesses to collect, analyze and act on data from a wide range of devices and sensors. Under their leadership, ACE IoT Solutions has become a leading provider of IoT solutions for a range of industries including healthcare, manufacturing and logistics.

Bill Maguire attended Reed College for their Bachelor of Arts and then went on to study Theology and Ethics at Union Theological Seminary where they obtained their Master of Arts.
