Dave Birchbauer is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in security and automation systems. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Accutech Security since January 2014, Birchbauer specializes in industrial RF security software development using Windows .NET. Previously, at Honeywell Security, Birchbauer held the position of Senior Software Engineer, developing embedded design solutions for card access security panels. Earlier roles include Software Engineer Manager at Silver Spring Networks, where initial system vision was developed and software staff was managed, and Senior Lead Software Engineer at HK Systems, focused on integrated automated material handling systems. Birchbauer’s career began in software development at various companies, including Process Control Systems, Astronautics Corporation of America, and Zimpro. Birchbauer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
