Tonya Miller began their professional career in 2004 as a Maintenance Worker/Painter for DaVal Home Improvements and Properties. In 2007, they worked as a Paint Dept. Sander (Temp) for Chrysler Group LLC. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Deployment Child Care Provider/Nanny for Spc. J. Peterson US Army and a Cleaning Crew for Clean Power. Tonya then became an EMT for the Clinton Fire Protection District from 2011 to 2015, and a Daytime Childcare Provider for In Home from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they began working at Blackhawk Technical College as an EMT Tester and CPR Instructor. In 2021, they began working as a Seasonal Sorter/Wrap Down for Amazon Warehouse and a Tier 2 Software Technical Support Specialist for AccuLynx.

Tonya Miller's education history includes a Diploma from Clinton High School, obtained in 2000, with interests in Animals/Agriculture, Computers, Accounting and Business. In 2011-2012, Miller obtained an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from Blackhawk Technical College. In 2021, Miller obtained a CPR Instructor Course and an Associate's degree in Accounting from Blackhawk Technical College, and is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Human Resources. Miller also holds several certifications, including an AccuLynx Production Certification and an AccuLynx Sales Certification, both obtained in 2021; an Emergency Medical Technician - Instructor I, obtained in 2021; an Emergency Medical Technician Basic, obtained in 2020; a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, obtained in 2021; and a CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, obtained in 2020.
