Paul Connolly has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering. Paul began their career in 1994 at Honeywell as a Senior Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they led system architecture, new development, and maintenance of back-end/infrastructure for the Profit Suite family of advanced process control and optimization applications. Paul also supported the conversion from thick client windows desktop user interfaces to ASP. NET core MVC web services. Paul then moved on to become a Principal Software Engineer, where they partnered with team members to create infrastructure to support the operation of control algorithms, external interfaces, and graphic user interfaces (GUIs) on Windows. Paul also designed and deployed the embedding of a process history database to archive time series data. Paul then worked on a project known as the "GUS Base System" for which they and the team were awarded a Honeywell Technical Excellence award in 1996. In 2020, they joined AccuLynx as a Senior Software Engineer.

Paul Connolly holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Kansas and has completed graduate coursework in Networking and Databases at Arizona State University. Paul has also obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in 2020: HTML5: Structure, Syntax, and Semantics; Learning Vue.js; Programming Foundations: APIs and Web Services; and Vue.js Essential Training.
