Eefje de Groot-Wiegers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, recreation, and sustainability. Currently serving as Voorzitter at Stichting Zero Waste Apeldoorn since March 2022 and as Verborgen Impact Ambassadeur for Think Big Act Now since November 2022, Eefje focuses on promoting sustainable practices within networks. Eefje has been with Accres Apeldoorn B.V. since December 2006, where responsibilities include managing multiple children's farms and transforming municipal policies on education and sustainability into practical applications. Eefje's earlier roles include primate keeper at Apenheul and a trainee in the education department at Dolfinarium. Eefje holds a BSc in Animal Management from Van Hall Larenstein University and several management and communication diplomas, underpinning a solid academic foundation in policy and wildlife management.
