Chris Ruane serves as the Vice President of Meetings and Events for Accor since November 2016, focusing on the strategy and structure of meetings and events for Global Sales in North and Central America. Prior to this role, Chris held various leadership positions at FRHI Hotels & Resorts, now part of AccorHotels, including Executive Director of Global Sales for North America, where responsibilities encompassed managing the meetings, incentive, and tour divisions. Chris's extensive experience in the hospitality industry also includes significant roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where oversight involved sales and marketing for multiple properties, and a foundational career at Marriott International. Chris holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
