Kirk Young is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Accipiter Systems since April 2021, focusing on advanced data communications for military and commercial applications. Previously, Kirk held the role of Chief Operating Officer (Contractor) at Safe Space Technologies, overseeing strategic initiatives and resource management. With a long tenure at Omnicell, Kirk advanced from Electrical Design Engineer to Director of Hardware Engineering, leading teams in medication management innovation and significantly improving project efficiencies. Prior experience includes positions at ZOLL Medical Corporation and the Naval Research Laboratory, where Kirk contributed to groundbreaking medical device development and satellite systems. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
