Mike Burton has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mike started their career in 1990 as a Research Analyst at BDM International. Mike then worked as an Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in 1994, followed by a role as a Staff Accountant at Octel Communications in 1995.

In 1996, Mike joined Concentra and held multiple positions, including Manager of Corporate Development, Director of Divisional Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director of Corporate Development. Mike was responsible for various financial planning and analysis activities, as well as acquisition strategy and due diligence.

Mike joined the Texas Army National Guard in 2005 and held the role of Major - Deputy Garrison Commander, Director of Public Works and Logistics Officer. Mike served in Kabul, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and retired as a Major in 2006.

Following their military service, Mike returned to Concentra in 2006 as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and later became the Vice President of Concentra At Work & Concentra Medical Surveillance. Mike also served as a Strategic Consultant, Chief of Staff of Valor Healthcare, and Physician/Clinic Network Development and Management.

In 2017, Mike joined Primary Care Solutions as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer before moving on to their current role as the Chief Operating Officer at Access Medical Clinic starting in 2023.

Mike Burton completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, attending from 1991 to 1994.
