Axelle Janczur serves as the Executive Director at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services since 1998, leading a medium-sized agency focused on high-need immigrants and refugees in Toronto through capacity building and evidence-informed programming. In addition to this role, Axelle is a part-time lecturer at the Schulich School of Business at York University, teaching a course on Management Issues in the Nonprofit sector. Previous experience includes a managerial position at Skills for Change from 1993 to 1998, where organizational vision and programming were developed for foreign-trained professionals, and a managerial role in Employment Equity at YWCA Toronto from 1991 to 1993, focusing on legislative compliance and organizational audits. Axelle holds an MBA in Management Accounting and Nonprofit Organizations from York University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from York University as well.
