Patrick Lafferty has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Patrick began their career in the US Army, where they served in various roles, including Company Commander and Platoon Leader. Following their military service, Lafferty joined Leo Burnett USA, where they worked as an Account Supervisor and later as an SVP | Account Director, leading national marketing programs for high-profile clients such as McDonald's and Kellogg's. Lafferty then moved on to Discovery Inc, where they served as Chief Marketing Officer for the Travel Channel and later as SVP of Marketing for multiple channels and Discovery Education. During their time at Discovery, they led the transformation of the company into an integrated travel media business and achieved significant boosts in revenue and ratings. Lafferty's next career move took him to BBH North America, where they served as the CEO and played a key role in the agency's profitability and creative success, earning Cannes Lions awards. Patrick then joined Translation LLC as President, leading a team focused on brands that lead cultural trends. Lafferty's leadership skills led to the agency being recognized as the 2018 Standout Agency of the Year. After Translation, Lafferty joined mcgarrybowen as President, U.S, overseeing various creative and content agencies. Patrick Lafferty completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from St. Bonaventure University from 1984 to 1988.
