Baafuor Kwarteng has a diverse range of work experience in the technology field. Baafuor began their career in 2013 as a Technical Support Specialist at Brigham Young University, where they provided hardware and software troubleshooting and analyzed software compatibility. Baafuor then worked as a Freelance iOS Developer from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, they joined Brigham Young University again as a Web Application Developer, where they built websites using PHP, Java EE, and MySQL, developed SAML Single Sign On in Drupal websites, and launched responsive and mobile-friendly websites for various departments. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Application Developer at Holoture LLC, where they developed an augmented reality application and implemented software documentation for the Microsoft Hololens. Most recently, they have been working as a Software Support Engineer III at Accela since 2018.

Baafuor Kwarteng holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Information Technology with a Security Emphasis from Brigham Young University. Additionally, they are certified as an Accredited Configuration Engineer in PAN-OD 7.0 Version from Palo Alto Networks.
