David Johnson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Coalesce.io since February 2023, David develops APIs and backend software for the company’s platform. Previously, as the Founder and Principal Developer at Lanson Labs LLC from 2016 to 2023, David led the technical architecture for the Aptos ONE platform and created a cloud-based retail system for Fortune 100 companies. David co-founded SkillStore, Inc. and served as CTO, providing technology leadership for a SaaS platform focused on video-based training. Additional roles include CTO at Mocapay, where David advanced mobile payment solutions, and prior consultancy at Lanson Labs LLC. Past experience also includes serving as Director of Technology at StorePerform Technologies and a Program Manager/Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to major product launches like Microsoft Exchange Server. David holds a BSEE in Digital Electronics/Software from Virginia Tech.
