Bette Chen has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Service Consultant/Project Manager at SAP in 2011. In 2013, they took on a role as a Project Manager/Business Analyst at Peugeot Finance, and in 2014, they were a Snr. Business Analyst at the University of Canterbury. Bette then moved to CLAAS Harvest Centre, Landpower Holdings as a New Technology, Digital Project (Product) Manager. In 2018, they joined Centrality.ai as a Product Manager, and in 2019, they became a Co-Founder at Acala Network and Laminar, as well as a Guest Speaker & Ambassador for the University of Otago MBA. In 2020, they joined the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator Cohort SP20, and they are also a Co-Founder of Flowingo, a social enterprise that has a mission to empower human potential and expand human consciousness.

Bette Chen obtained their Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Software Engineering from The University of Auckland. Bette then pursued a Master of Business Administration from University of Otago and Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
