Amy Hillman

Amy Hillman has a diverse work experience, starting in 1996 as an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. Amy later worked as an Assistant Professor at Richard Ivey School of Business before joining Arizona State University in 2001 as the Rusty Lyon Chair of Strategy. At ASU, they held various roles such as Professor, Dean of the W. P. Carey School of Business, and Executive Dean. Hillman also served as a Director at CDK Global and an Outside Director at Bashas' Inc. Amy is currently the President of the Academy of Management and the Executive Director of The New Governance Lab at Arizona State University. Additionally, they have been an Outside Director at B:Side Capital.

Amy Hillman attended Alamo Heights High School. After completing high school, they went on to study at Deree College in 1984. Amy then transferred to Trinity University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. Amy later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1996.
