Forrest Helfrich has a diverse work experience in scientific roles. Forrest is currently working as a Senior Scientist, AMD Lead at Abzena since September 2021. Previously, they served as an Associate Principal Investigator II at Intertek Pharmaceutical Services from June 2017 to September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Brains On-Line, LLC as a Bioanalytical Scientist and Chemical Hygiene Officer from January 2012 to July 2016. Forrest also gained experience as a Graduate Research Associate at the University of Arizona from August 2006 to May 2011, focusing on fungal antigen detection. Forrest started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Transwest GeoChem in May 2004, where they performed various chemical analyses. Forrest also worked as a Public Health Scientist II at the Arizona Department of Health Services from May 2004 to August 2006.

Forrest Helfrich holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Arizona, which was obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology, General from Northern Arizona University between 1999 and 2003.
