Mick Hoover has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2006, they started their career at the Phoenix Suns as a Sr. Account Executive, where they excelled in retaining premium season ticket holder accounts and corporate accounts, contributing to an annual revenue of $11M. Mick implemented proactive sales strategies and initiatives, resulting in a 20% increase in renewal rates. Mick also played a vital role in enhancing corporate sales efforts through a Business Account Retention program.
In 2012, Mick became the Co-Owner of Garlic & Shots, a company they managed until 2013. Following this, from 2013 to 2016, they served as the CMO / Chief Marketing Officer at Blood Brothers, LLC. Mick then joined the City of Dunedin in 2020, working as a Communications & Social Media Consultant until 2021.
Mick's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish their own company, Hoover Digital, in 2016. As the Owner, CEO, and President, they managed a team of employees and contractors, overseeing various responsibilities such as strategic vision, financial management, website development, social media consulting, and search engine optimization. Mick Hoover obtained a High School Diploma from Arcadia High School, where they attended from 1995 to 1998. In 2017, they attended Rutgers Business School and studied Marketing/Social Media/Digital Advertising. Mick also obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite in January 2017.
