Syed Asghar Abid has extensive work experience in the banking sector. SYED ASGHAR started their career in 1999 as a Business Development Officer at ABN AMRO and then moved to Standard Chartered Bank in 2000 as a Senior Business Development Officer. In 2004, they joined Mashreqbank as an Assistant Relationship Manager and later took on roles such as Sales Manager, Manager of the Portfolio & Risk Management Unit, and Regional Sales Manager - Emerging Corporates. SYED ASGHAR worked at Mashreqbank until 2013. In 2013, they joined Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank as the Head of Corporate Cash Sales Dxb & NE GTB.

From 2000 to 2001, Syed Asghar Abid pursued an MBA in IT at the Institute of Banking, Finance & Management.
