Ashraf Abdullah has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of communications. Ashraf is currently working as the Head of External Communications at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Strategic Communications at Quill Communications FZ-LLC from August 2021 to September 2022. Ashraf also held the position of Director at Ketchum from May 2019 to April 2020. Before that, they worked as an Associate Director at Consulum from January 2018 to May 2019.

Ashraf has also worked at Cicero & Bernay Public Relations, where they held the roles of Group Account Director from August 2017 to January 2018, and Account Director from March 2016 to August 2017. Ashraf joined APCO Worldwide in March 2010 and served as an Associate Director from March 2015 to March 2016. Ashraf also worked as a Consultant at APCO Worldwide from March 2010 to March 2015.

Additionally, Ashraf worked as a Freelancer at ITP, where they gained experience in journalism and public relations.

From 2004 to 2009, Ashraf Abdullah attended Tishreen University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature.
