Kimia Ahmadizadeh is a knowledgeable Scientist and Quality Control Associate at Absorption Systems, a Pharmaron company, since May 2021. Previously served as a Research Associate II at LGC Clinical Diagnostics from November 2019 to April 2021 and held the position of Research Assistant at the University of Delaware from February 2017 to August 2019. During time at the University of Delaware, Kimia conducted significant research on age-related cataractous lenses, morphological defects in lens fiber cells, and the role of Zbtb8b in lens development. Additionally, Kimia worked as a Teaching Assistant, instructing over 240 undergraduate students in various biology and chemistry courses while also emphasizing lab techniques and data analysis. Earlier experience includes a volunteer role at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, investigating the genetic basis of skin disorders, and a position as a Quality Control Specialist and Style Editor at KOWSAR. Kimia holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shahid Beheshti University.
