Collins Ouma has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Collins started their career in 2013 as an IT and Risk Intern at Microline Systems LTD, where they provided IT and risk advisory services to SMEs. In 2014, they joined NCBA Group as an IT Operations Officer, managing first-level applications and systems support. Collins later transitioned to the role of Applications and System Analyst, responsible for technical support in product development and problem management. In 2017, Collins became a Product Development Manager at NCBA Group, focusing on the development and enhancement of new products and value propositions. In 2018, they joined Absa Group as a Senior Manager and eventually progressed to the position of Product & Innovation Lead in 2022. Collins' work experience showcases their expertise in product development, technical support, and innovation management.

Collins Ouma completed a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Nairobi, from 2009 to 2013. In 2018, they attended Strategyzer Academy and received a degree in Business Models and Value Proposition, specializing in Product Development. Collins Ouma also obtained various certifications, including Managing Platform Products from LinkedIn in 2023, API Product Manager from API Academy in 2021, Agile Project Management and Agile Delivery from Udemy in 2019, and ITIL Foundation from APMG International in 2016. Collins is also certified as a Prince2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016, as a Certified Real-Time Processing System Administrator from Tieto in 2016, and as a Certified Information Communication Technologist CICT from kasneb in 2012.
