Ujjawal Kumar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping since July 2014, Ujjawal has previously held positions as a Design Engineer at Offshore Ship Designers from June 2012 to June 2014 and as a Project Engineer at Dry Dock World from June 2008 to June 2012. Ujjawal's early career includes an Industrial Trainee role at Larsen & Toubro for a brief period in 2007, focusing on production practice and structural calculations, as well as industrial training at Hindustan Shipyard Limited in June 2006. Ujjawal holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore (2013-2014) and a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from Cochin University of Science and Technology (2004-2008).
