Maria Spala, MBA, is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in various roles across different industries. Currently serving as the Regional Marketing Manager for Europe at the American Bureau of Shipping since September 2022, Maria previously held significant positions including Head of Corporate Marketing at Pharmathen from January 2014 to May 2021, and Marketing Manager at VNK Capital from 2016 to July 2018. Maria founded and managed Icon S.A. from December 2010 to January 2014 and started their career as a Corporate Internal Auditor at Club Hotel Casino Loutraki from January 2005 to January 2008, and as a Rebranding Project Manager at BT from May 2003 to June 2004. Maria holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Birmingham City University.
