Linyue Zhao is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in naval architecture and engineering applications. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer Team Lead at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since September 2022, Linyue Zhao oversees the planning, development, testing, and support of engineering applications for various clients. Previously, at Saipem America from 2014 to September 2022, Linyue Zhao conducted advanced naval and pipelay analyses utilizing Orcaflex and MOSES, and contributed to the development of a Metocean Dashboard using TypeScript, React.js, and D3 for data visualization. Earlier roles included internships at BOA Marine Services and Det Norske Veritas, focusing on hydrostatic, hydrodynamic analysis, and structural modeling. Linyue Zhao holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Engineering in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Harbin Engineering University.
