Karin Chua is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in management accounting and financial operations. Currently serving as Finance Manager at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since January 2008, Karin has successfully stabilized business spin-off entities and leads the APAC General Ledger team. Previous roles at ABS include Global General Ledger Accounting Manager and GL Supervisor for the Pacific Region, where responsibilities included managing outsourced vendor relations and implementing Oracle R12. Karin's career also includes accounting positions at Surbana Land China, WorldGreen Shipping Pte Ltd, and Noel Gifts International, as well as auditing experience at Pioneer Associates. Academic credentials include a Professional Certification in Accountancy from ACCA, an MBA from the University of Bradford, and ongoing professional development through PMP certification and courses in mergers and acquisitions.
